Record Comments:  This extended play, radio spots record includes three audio-only interview tracks that promote the movie Beach Party.  The original interview was conducted by Dick Strout, but his vocals were removed for this open-end interview disc that gives disc jockeys the option to host their own interviews with a companion script (not pictured here.)

Subject Notes:  Annette Funicello was born on October 22, 1942 in Utica, New York and died on April 8, 2013 in Bakersfield, California.  To Disney fans, Annette is best known as one of the original Mouseketeers on the Disney television show The Mickey Mouse Club, that first aired in October of 1955.  In 1958, she starred in her own serial, Annette, that ran for a total of 19 episodes as part of final season of The Mickey Mouse Club.  In the show, Annette played a young farm girl transitioning to an upper-class neighborhood.


Subject Notes:  Beach Party is an American International Pictures live-action feature that premiered in theaters during August of 1963.  The running time is approximately 101 minutes.  The soundtrack was released on Disney's Buena Vista Records label.
