Record Comments:  This extended play record includes four tracks that promote the return of several beach party movies to the theater during a special Beach Party 10th anniversary screening in 1973.

On each track, the narrator talks in the character voice of Erik Von Zipper while Annette's Beach Party track from album #BV-3316 plays in the background.  Note that the movie How To Stuff A Wild Bikini is printed on the label incorrectly as "How To Stop A Wild Bikini."

Subject Notes:  Annette Funicello was born on October 22, 1942 in Utica, New York and died on April 8, 2013 in Bakersfield, California.  To Disney fans, Annette is best known as one of the original Mouseketeers on the Disney television show The Mickey Mouse Club, that first aired in October of 1955.  In 1958, she starred in her own serial, Annette, that ran for a total of 19 episodes as part of final season of The Mickey Mouse Club.  In the show, Annette played a young farm girl transitioning to an upper-class neighborhood.

 

Subject Notes:  Beach Party is an American International Pictures live-action feature that premiered in theaters during August of 1963.  The running time is approximately 101 minutes.  The soundtrack was released on Disney's Buena Vista Records label.
