Record Comments:  This double-header record featuring Johnny Appleseed and Pecos Bill are from two segments of Melody Time.

The album consists of content that was previously released on multiple 78 RPM 10" records from RCA Victor sets #Y389 and #Y390, but are contained here with the complete story and music, each on one side of a 33 1/3 RPM 12" record.

The front and back artwork are near duplicates of their 78 RPM predecessors.  A stereo-effect record was also made from reprocessed mono tracks on #CAS-1054(e).

Subject Notes:  Melody Time is Disney's 10th animated feature and contains 7 film segments with some live-action sequences.  The film was produced by Walt Disney and released to theaters by RKO Radio Pictures during May of 1948.  The running time is approximately 75 minutes.
