Record Comments: Stan
Jones, born to pioneering parents, grew up in the West. The songs
on this album represent his own lifetime, drawing on both his heritage
and talent as a song writer. All songs are written by Jones. Thurl
Ravenscroft's deep, soothing voice provided the perfect narration to start
the Westward journey. The entire album bumps up a note with the flavored
harmonies of The Ranger Chorus. Ravenscroft also joins in for some
outstanding lead vocals, most notably on Saddle Up. Matrix
