Subject Notes:  The Walt Disney Music Company was incorporated in 1947, which started from an effort to get songs from Cinderella published and licensed for the Disney Company.  This led to an interesting period, where Jimmy Johnson took on managing the music publishing that included several songs that were not from a Disney film or production.  WDMC had several hits outside of the films, along with many flops.  The extended story of this interesting period can be read about in Jimmy Johnson's book, Inside The Whimsy Works.
