Subject Notes:  America Sings is a Disney Theme Park attraction that first opened in June of 1974 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.  The attraction was housed in the rotating Carousel Theater, replacing The Carousel of Progress that moved to The Magic Kingdom in Florida.  The show was hosted by Burl Ives as Sam the Eagle and traveled through American history in song with animal animatronics.  The attraction closed in 1988, but some of the artifacts are now part of Splash Mountain.
