inch, thick cardboard greeting card includes a get well message that can
be read and listened to. In order to play the flexi-disc record that
is attached to the inside of the card, it requires that the center hole be
punched out and for the card to be separated on the perforated, folding
edge. The
card was produced by American Telecard, Inc. of Los Angeles,
California. The
record was made by Columbia Record Productions and includes a short
message with sound effects and dialog from Disney characters Ludwig Von
Drake, Huey, Dewey and Louie. The story on
has Doctor Ludwig Von Drake, with the help of Huey, Dewey and Louie,
accidentally blowing up his lab in an attempt to invent a new get well serum for his special little friend who gets this card.
Subject Notes:
Ludwig Von Drake is Donald Duck's eccentric
uncle who hosted several Disney television shows. His first
appearance was in the premiere episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful
World of Color in 1961 entitled An Adventure In Color.
The voice of Ludwig Von Drake was supplied by Paul Frees.
