Symphony is a series of 75 cartoons that started with The Skeleton Dance in 1929 and ended in 1939 with a
remake of The Ugly Duckling. A standout of the
series includes installment number 36, The Three Little Pigs,
released on May 27, 1933. This animated favorite was so popular, it won the Academy Award for Best Cartoon and often received a higher position on the theater marquee than the film it was playing with. The song,
Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf, was a soundtrack milestone for Disney and led the way to other songs being released on vinyl records.
